The Brut Rosé sparkling wine originates from varieties of Pinot Noir entirely selected in France. Ideal for the aperitif, Brut Rosé can pleasantly accompany the whole meal.

Production area
Alta Val Tidone with vineyards located on a rolling hill facing the west and south-west.

Vine varieties
100% Pinot Noir from clonal material selected in Champagne and Burgundy. The vine training systems are the simple Guyot and the spurred cordon with about 5000 stocks per hectare.

Grape harvest
The grapes are collected by hand and placed in wooden boxes with manual selection of the bunches before the pressing. It starts between the last week of August and the first week of September.

Yield
40-50 hl of wine per hectare.

Winemaking
Soft pressing of whole grapes after short maceration in the press and first fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14-16°C.

Cuvée
Obtained from a blend of base wines (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir).

Second fermentation
It is carried out with the classic method in the estate cellars. The aging on the lees lasts for at least 30/42 months before disgorgement.

Colour
Pale pink with appealing orange nuances.

Perlage
Continuous and subtle, fine and persistent froth.

Aroma
Small ripe red and black fruits (raspberry, currant, wild cherry and sour black cherry) with spicy and citrus notes, especially hints of candied orange zest.

Flavour
Excellent and fine structure with balanced acidity, smooth and lingering with good minerality. Ideal as an aperitif, it can pleasantly accompany the whole meal and be combined with first courses of the Italian cuisine, feathered game, white meat, lake fish, hard and semi-hard cheese.

Pietragaia

Brut 412
Brut 412 is a sparkling wine born from the combination of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. Its good structure and well-balanced acidity create a long and sweet aftertaste. We recommend it with appetisers and snacks, but also with fish specialities and finger food.

Rivabriosa
Rivabriosa originates from the local Ortrugo variety. Bright straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections, it is savoury and pleasant with a tingling freshness on the tongue. Its elegant effervescence is very well matched with DOP cured meats and combines perfectly with butter and sage ravioli.

Gandinaia
The prevalence of Syrah combined with typical local varieties gives life to a ruby red coloured wine with a floral and fruity flavour. With an excellent well-balanced structure, Gandinaia matches perfectly with first courses of the Emilian cuisine, game, red meat and aged cheese.
